National Museum of Underwater Archeology
During the Roman Empire, Grado´s Island hosted the ancient city of Aquileia. Nearby, just few years ago, an entire ship wreck and its cargo has been discovered. The ship has been named "Iulia Felix". After the extensive, patient and laborious restoration, this magnificent discovery will be the main attraction in Grado´s new Museo Nazionale dell´Archeologia Subacquea (National Museum of Underwater Archaeology). An ultramodern edifice that will give all its guests and visitors the opportunity to take a fascinating voyage on the waves of remembrance, to an immense and amazing civilization: the Roman World.
